About the Taste of Tippecanoe
Something for everyone!
People enjoy coming to the Taste for a variety of reasons. You will find folks of all ages just hanging out with friends, listening to their favorite music, or sampling some of the best food in town.
This spirit of celebration and community draws thousands to downtown Lafayette and the Tapawingo riverfront every year on the third Saturday in June. The 2010 Taste will be bigger, better and more exciting than ever before.
The biggest party of the year! Listen up and chow down. 36 bands... over 40 restaurants... more fun than you can ever imagine. Come join us for the last hour FREE. Gates will close at 11:00PM and the last hour of music and fun is on us!
Family Taste activities will be FREE from 3 - 5PM! After 5PM you can purchase a pay-one-price wristband for $10 and jump, bounce, climb and joust as much as you want, all night long!
Taste of Tippecanoe is sanctioned by the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, a non-profit organization, and is used as a fund-raising event to support the arts in Tippecanoe and surrounding counties.
Parking
In Lafayette, free parking will be available at the County garage on 2nd and Columbia, and the City Garage at 5th and Columbia. In West Lafayette, the Wabash Landing garage will also provide free parking. Street parking is available as well.
