Can I perform at the TASTE?

Not for 2017!

The TASTE Entertainment Committee selects performers in the Fall of the previous year. So… to be considered for the 2018 TASTE, it’s a good idea to send us info by September 1, 2017 to:

Some things to keep in mind:

  • The TASTE has a two-on, one-off rule. If you have performed two years in a row, you’ll have to sit one out.
  • Ideal candidates are performers of original music that reside in (or are from) the Tippecanoe Arts Federation’s 14 Indiana County, Region 4 Service Area (Tippecanoe, Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Pulaski, Tipton, Warren, White).
  • We really really like TAF’s Individual Artists and Member Organizations. *Wink, Wink*

How do I get a booth?

Booth spaces at the TASTE of Tippecanoe are limited to food vendors (local restaurants/breweries/wineries) and event sponsors.

Please contact us to inquire about availability at the 2017 TASTE.

How do I volunteer?

Thank you for your interest in being a 2017 TASTE volunteer! This year’s TASTE of Tippecanoe will be held on June 17, 2017.

Online Registration will begin soon. BE THE FIRST TO KNOW: SUBSCRIBE.

Upon registering, you’ll be contacted by the TASTE Volunteer Coordinator.

TASTE Volunteers receive free admission to the event, a sweet event t-shirt, and an overwhelmingly good feeling by helping support the Tippecanoe Arts Federation’s mission to Grow the Arts!

Volunteer assignments will be scheduled during training sessions held at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation the week before the event.

Warning: all applicants are subject to a possible background check.

How much is admission / Where do I buy tickets?

Admission is $10 at the Gates and free for Children 12 years and younger.

How much are food and drinks?

• All food and drink vendors accept tickets only. Tickets are available at Ticket Booths for $1 each.

Can I get a refund?

No. There are no admission or food/drink ticket refunds. The TASTE of Tippecanoe is the largest fundraiser for the Tippecanoe Arts Federation. On the other hand, since TAF is a 501(c)(3), we’d be happy to let you know how much you’re able to deduct on your 2017 taxes.

What if it rains?

The TASTE is a rain or shine event, bring an umbrella. But… if there’s lightning or crazy wind, we may have to hit the pause button for a bit. More safety information is available on our Safety Page and you can sign up for free AMG Text/Email Alerts for the TASTE here:

Can I bring my pet?

Only if it’s an assistance animal…

Can I bring a glass container?

Why? No. Glass containers are not allowed.

Can I bring in outside food or drinks?

No. We’ll have all the food and drinks you can want/buy at the TASTE. Plus, a percentage of sales benefit TAF’s mission to Grow the Arts!

Can I bring a bicycle?

Yes…but not inside the TASTE. Bicycle parking will be provided outside gates 1, 3, and 5, environmentally-conscious friend. :-)
