The Big Swing Band from Lafayette, Indiana will knock your socks off with their classic swing music from the 1930’s & 40”s. With five saxophones, four trombones and four trumpets, the Big Swing Band puts the brass at the forefront. A steady rhythm section of drums, bass, piano, and guitar gives the band’s driving rhythm. Topped with both female and male vocalists. They play standards from the American songbook recorded by such legends as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney and many more. The Big Swing Band serves to keep the big band tradition alive!
